Increase access to affordable housing: This is an important issue in our city and our communities, and Tia's commitment to addressing it shows her  understanding of the needs of residents. Working towards providing affordable housing options can help create a more inclusive and equitable community.

1. Establish a more equitable and efficient transportation system (CATS): Transportation plays a vital role in a city's development and the well-being of its residents. By advocating for an equitable and efficient transportation system, we can contribute to improving accessibility and reducing disparities in transportation options.
2. Improve traffic congestion and road conditions in Steele Creek: Addressing traffic congestion and improving road conditions is crucial for the overall quality of life in the district. By focusing on these issues, we can help alleviate commuter stress and enhance safety on the roads.
3. Increase workforce development opportunities through education and outreach to undeserved communities: Providing access to quality education and workforce development opportunities is essential for fostering economic growth and reducing inequalities. By engaging with undeserved communities and supporting initiatives that promote education and job training, we can empower individuals and contribute to a more prosperous district.
4. Work with city/county leaders, law enforcement, youth, and community groups to make neighborhoods safer: Building trust and collaboration between different stakeholders is key to creating safer neighborhoods. By addressing concerns related to transparency and trust and fostering dialogue among various groups, we can work towards resolving community safety issues effectively.
5. Commit to holding quarterly town halls and community resource fairs: Regular engagement with the community through town halls and resource fairs is an excellent way to involve residents and gather their input. It shows my commitment to being accessible and accountable as a City Councilwoman in District#3.
